At WHELP Housing, our commitment extends beyond our residents- we are deeply rooted in serving and uplifting the wider community. Through partnerships with local organizations, social service agencies, and volunteer groups, we actively engage in outreach programs that support housing stability, mental health awareness, addiction recovery and workforce reintegration.

We organize and participate in community clean-up days, food drives, clothing and shoe drives, and seasonal holiday giveaways, that not only benefit not only our program participants but also those in surrounding neighborhoods. We strive to build a stronger, more compassionate community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

our community by promoting self-sufficiency and independence.

We support our WHELP community participants who are currently employed in standard full-time employment and are seeking to advance their careers or transition into more fulfilling opportunities. Our services include comprehensive career readiness support such as resume building, interview preparation, and job search.
